CHAPS 2016 was held on October 22nd, 2016 and was an interactive health conference which aimed to enable and empower our local community to make healthier choices through education, creating awareness and practice. We aimed for students attending local middle and elementary schools to learn how to make healthy choices, the importance of children's health, and prevention of childhood obesity. Guest speakers to the event included Senator Barbara A. Favola, delegate Jennifer Boysko, dietitian Nour Zibdeh, personal trainer Jermey, and hygienist Yhomara Warshavsky.

We cooperate with our local policy makers, business leaders, health experts, and children in which we give our community a platform to come together and share knowledge, experiences, and solutions about one of the most distressing problems in the 21st century - childhood obesity.
