"As someone who was overweight in my adolescence, I recognize the emphasis and necessity to eat healthy and become more proactive about my nutrition. I'm hoping that through my efforts in the CHAPS organization, I can encourage a lifestyle of better habits to all children"

Sophomore at Langley High School

"Welcome to the Children's Health Awareness Program in Schools (CHAPS)! I initiated and founded CHAPS at the age of 13, aiming to empower and enable our communities, especially children, to make healthier choices through education, creating awareness, and practice. Every person deserves to live a long healthy life, and that all depends on the daily choices we make! My passion lies in spreading awareness about not only the obesity epidemic.

Join us on our mission, and together, we can make American schools healthy, one child at a time"
